Live from......

.... my desk in my little studio apartment.  I know you haven't heard from me in quite awhile. I know you all probably know construction goes that way BUT today some of the things happened that I was waiting on before sharing with you all and before moving in. Today I've started moving things in but I don't want to stumble around boxes. Instead I want to maintain order as I put things away and also I need to know what I can find homes for and what I need to let go of. While waiting the last couple weeks I've been going through storage looking for those things I've cherished over the years and that I must find a place for. Hmmm maybe I need to come up with a little name for my home. Got any ideas?  Anyway, so excited to show you my writing space. The desk was made special to fit and I requested the cork board to tack up reminders of God's goodness and maybe it will be kind of a vision board as well.

I found the throw that the Balko community (where I grew up) put together that shows so many of the places that are near and dear to my heart. Not sure if it will remain on the bed forever, but at least for awhile. There's the school I attended, the Post Office and the grain elevator where I worked during the  summers of my High School years. The church I attended, the other church where I gave my heart to Jesus at a VBS. Full of so many memories!

A little old end table. My sister gave it to me a few years ago and it matched perfectly a dresser I had at the time. Dresser is no longer in my possession but the end table has the country feel I'm looking for. Oh and Tip loves jumping from her bed to my bed....I mean our bed.

But speaking of Tip, she has been quite hesitant to call this space home. I've had to coax her down several times. Today I started feeding her down here and I brought her indoor tennis ball out. It's been banned upstairs so she was pleased to see it again. I did catch her finally watching out the window, like she does upstairs with her head propped up on the edge of her bed. I know it will take time.

I love this spacious peg board and can't wait to figure out exactly how I'm gonna use it. And of course the shelf way up high will hold my books.

My living area! Don't you just love this picture that looks like it's a window. It truly looks like the back yard of the house.

(Hmm this picture isn't moving from my phone to my Google app on my laptop. GRRR I'll share that picture soon. )

My table, my fold out table. Was not expecting the carpenter to put those shelves in like he did but my oh my!! Love, love, love!

I found the ventage small refrigerator and decided to with red accents even though red isn't a favorite color but I love my red barn picture and - I just can't believe how my contractor and his crew put this all together.

My TV -

Much more moving in to do but wanted to share where we are now. Hopefully I'll be successful in getting everything good to go real soon so I can start developing my blog a bit more and see what God has instore for me as I intentionally pursue Living Large.
