I think it's done.....
I've added just a few more things but I think I'm done now and ready to relax and just enjoy my little apartment. I've given myself the rest of the week to do any more tweeking that I might feel needs being done and then I'm ready to get my story out and write. I want to catch up on some reading as well. And Tip, well she brought me not one, but two toys last night as she just wants some attention. I enjoy hearing her in the other room rummaging around in her basket that holds her toys. I do go out with her from time to time but it's just been too hot for us to stay long. So here's the additions:
Another look at the fridge and peg board - my little kitchen area.
I haven't used my drop down table much to eat off. I am waiting to find a tablecloth as I didn't wanna mess it up right from the git go. I also found all my "old kitchen stuff" that I've collected over the years. I put it in the table shelves but not sure they will stay there. I really need to let go of most of these items, or at least some of them. There is that pitcher, the Equity Elevator one. Who knows what that's about but the Equity is the company my Papa worked for and that I worked for during my High School summers. The pitcher is very old though. Remember when you could buy matches in boxes. The holder on the right (with apples on it...3 shelf from the top) is the one that hung in my Mama's kitchen. Those are the only 2 things that really have a connection to me.
As I stated, I'm pretty much done. Gone through all the boxes in storage and retrieved the things for my new home and downsized what was left into a smaller unit. I will eventually dig out more of my crafting supplies and see if I still have a love for "making stuff". However, for the next few months I want to enjoy this space that I have been waiting a-while for (almost a year) and develop a new norm and see what God has in store. The last few weeks He has provided answers for things I've been asking for, again waiting a-while for. I love the faithfulness of the God I serve.
